Let’s start with my first name. Ann. The meaning of which is, Grace. Never really taking time to understand and delve into the concept of grace, that was my extent of thought and time contemplating grace. And then I hit 40. Haha
Self reflection, personal relationships, parenting, grief. A certain amount of living and loving life will create all of these elements within ourselves. And one simply cannot live without extending grace to oneself. Most simply put, grace to forgive your own mistakes, grace to not anger over accidents, grace to allow people the space to become who they are journeying to be even if that’s messy and complicated. Grace to accept the people you love for who they are at that moment, even if the journey is far from over.
In the next few weeks we are welcoming Grace into our home literally. Puppy mama to our Biggie and Smallz, now in need of her forever home. Adding another member to Team Wright, the furry kind. Our hope as a family is to bring her back together with her boys and love her just as much, as we already love them.
Not always is Grace such a literal element as our new adoption pup. Many times you have to dig deep for Grace. Exploring perspectives and different views until you can find where grace lives within you. Where the grace that you extend to yourself far exceeds the boundaries that you may have for others. Where the understanding meets the reality and the love carries you onward in life’s journey. Just as you are. Real. Messy. Full of Grace.
“Grace has been dead for years?!!??!!!“ THE BLESSING”
